Lisa Palermo Matto from Syracuse, NY has published a book of stories about her daughter, Marlee, who has Down syndrome.

The Up Side of Downs is available on Amazon.

In a recent interview with CNY Central, the author shared her views on how the community played a role in how Marlee has consistently reached her goals. 

“Marlee was recently accepted into Syracuse University’s InclusiveU program. She will live on campus in a dorm for her college studies.”
